Challenger Deep is a contemporary YA novel that dives into the heart of mental illness. Readers can expect to follow the realistic journey of a teenage schizophrenic as he goes through diagnosis and treatment, including inpatient care at a psychiatric facility.

Language: Moderate – Sporadic use of profanity throughout.
Sexual Content: Closed Door – No sex scenes or kissing. Brief innuendo on occasion (i.e., a teen boy is collecting calling cards for “escort services” in Las Vegas because they show pictures of girls in underwear).
