Synopsis:

My Refuge tells the stories of four girls around the world, all in different circumstances but facing trials of isolation, fear, and uncertainty. Readers can expect encouraging and faith filled stories perfect for tweens and teens.

Sexual Content: One character is pressured to send a picture of herself online then a photo that can be inferred that it is lewd. She finds photos online that she has a hard time erasing from her mind.

Violence: Mild – War, bombing, building collapse (not graphic)

Religious Themes: Christian faith is strongly woven through the stories and is the central theme. Scripture is referenced frequently. Characters pray frequently. One character is Muslim but finds an Injeel (New Testament) and begins reading about Jesus.
